For more than 25 years, I have explored anomalous experiences, psychical phenomena, hauntings and the many ways people encounter the unexplained.

My interest reaches beyond the question of whether something is simply “paranormal.” I am equally interested in the people, places, histories and circumstances surrounding unusual experiences—and in what these accounts may reveal about perception, memory, belief and consciousness.

My approach

I approach each subject with curiosity, openness and critical thought. Depending on the case, my research may draw upon field investigation, historical records, witness testimony, psychical research, experimental methods and spiritual or cultural perspectives.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined conclusion, I aim to examine the available evidence, consider conventional explanations and identify the questions that remain unresolved. Some cases may ultimately have straightforward explanations; others resist easy classification. Both outcomes are valuable.

Anomalous experiences rarely exist in isolation. They are shaped by the people who report them, the environments in which they occur and the stories that develop around them. Understanding those different perspectives is an essential part of any meaningful investigation.

More than 25 years of inquiry

Over the past quarter of a century, I have investigated reportedly haunted locations, researched historical and contemporary cases, conducted experiments and worked alongside other investigators and researchers.

Collaboration has always been important to my work. Different viewpoints, experiences and areas of expertise can challenge assumptions and reveal details that might otherwise be overlooked.
